Has anyone seen these hit stores yet? I think/hope Surly Wet should be available shortly, this onset of cool and damp weather means the time is drawing near...

No word on any of them from any of my distributors yet. But your correct, the time is drawing near. I'll post on this thread when I learn of anything.

I think Steel Toe released their's yesterday at the taproom with 750 ml bottles to follow. First time they've done a wet hop AFAIK.

Unmapped will release their's on Monday, no word yet on growler/crowlers. I thought their offering was pretty solid last year and they did offer growlers.

Anyone remember what hop style Bang Brewing used last yeast for their wet hop and if they plan on using the same style again this year? I just remember being blown away with how great that one was to me.

Oh Oh Oh... first one to say Surly's Wet sucks again. Worse then last years, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the and the and the

It's consistently one of my favorites, but yeah, I'm sure it totally sucks this year

In all seriousness though, I believe Founders Harvest has gotten consistently worse for the past 5 years or so. Hopefully that trend reverses, it used to be incredible.

I has, it used to be my go to wet hop. I decided last year that after the huge lupulin push the the wet hop beer expectation needs to be dramatically lowered.

Whoa, I haven’t had anything from them that’s been been less than decent, so am definitely intrigued.

Surly WET is being released starting Monday the 1st. It sounds like Founders Harvest Ale will be next week for us as well. Are there any fresh/wet hopped beers on shelves anywhere today? I've been craving one for a while now and don't feel like making a trip to Minneapolis.

Anyone try Steel Toe's version? It's now for sale in the tap room in 750s for $9 per, seems a little expensive, better be damn good for that price.

Day Block will be tapping their Wet Hop IPA next Wednesday. It's 100% cashmere hop, 70 IBU and 8% ABV. The uncarbonated sample I was given was melon forward, and super good.

This year's version of This(their fresh hop beer)is already in release. It's on tap @ the brewery and bottles are available at selected liquor stores in Saint Paul(Thomas and Scott's for sure).

I have have had wet/fresh hop beers at three taprooms this week. They were all good, but in order of preference I liked Bad Weather Saturation, Steel Toe Mighty Fresh and Lakes and Legends Centennial Harvest. Can’t wait to try this years version of Castle Danger Fresh Hop though. Always my favorite...

I'm drinking one right now, and agree that it is totally solid. They even got some nice bitterness out of the fresh hops which I've been told isn't easy to do. Also, cascade hops are a very welcome change. I'm so damn sick of citra's dominance of local pale ales/IPAs.

I had a pour of this years Wet. Nice pungent Citra hit with just the right amount of bitterness in finish. Very different than last years.
