Lift Bridge's Mini Donut Beer and the Schell's Grainbelt Blu were both delicious! For sure get the Blu with the beer foam slushy on top - refreshing on a hot Sunday afternoon.

It's worth noting that the Bent Paddle IPA at the Ball Park Café is nitro. Tasty!

"Rare" and "Hard To Find" beers available in Horticulture building on Saturday and Sundays.

When I was there on Sunday morning, the "Specialty Flight" was Sweet Yamma Jamma, Burning Bros Pyro, and the Schell's 30th Anniversary Hefe (which might have been two from the series, but I wasn't sure). Not quite as "rare" or "hard to find" as I was expecting / hoping for. I understand it's probably hard to put together the flights as consistently as we'd like over a twelve day period with a large number of people coming through, and it's not that I was looking for Darkness, but I was looking for something more than very readily available options.

Anyone know if the exclusives like Mini-Donut, Grain Belt Blue, and Summit Black Lager are lasting into the evening? I'm thinking of going tomorrow night. Also, what are the prices?

You should be fine. I got there Saturday about 5pm and had a Summit Villian and the GF had the mini donut beer with no problem.

If adding blueberries to premium improves a slightly better than average adjunct too wonderful- adding them to noble star would be incredible.

Villain kicked today. They did not limit it per day. They had it on tap till they ran through all they had.

Blu was gone yesterday by about 7pm. Still had Blu slushy mix at that time.

It should be, but not as refreshing as it would be on a Sunday. You should go back this weekend, it will provide greater refreshment.

    Frozen Premium Blu.

I wouldn't seek this beer out, I wouldn't drink it at home. I wouldn't be excited to find it on tap at a bar.

That said. At the fair, it was the perfect beer. Tasty, refreshing, I think I had 3 of them. And considering I had to keep walking all the way back to the west end, that's saying something.

Giggles Campfire Grill. It's up in Machinery Hill. Giggles has a nice beir garden in the back. I think a Sàga 20oz was 6.75. They are right next to the Lumberjack/Jill expo.

Lift Bridge Mini Donut was good but I purchased it the rain and the sugar rim melted and turned the cup sticky. Chalk that up to lesson learned.

I thought that the mini donut was surprisingly good. But the sugar rim is essential. I noticed that the sips from sides of the cup where the sugar was already gone, that it lost a lot of the appeal. But you only need the smallest amount of sugar, so a rim should get you through a 20 oz cup. I was bummed that I did not get to try the grain belt blueberry.
