How stupid to traumatize the victims for a little bit of money.

Sad to hear but clearly they targeted one of the best and most lucrative attractions at the fair. I really enjoyed the way they did this event, preplanned flights loosely by style, samples only. Nobody was there just swilling pints and getting loaded - everyone was truly tasting a variety of MN beers and talking about them as they sampled.

Man I hope this doesn't put an end to this exhibit. A definite high point of the fair and yearly tradition for me. Only a matter of time before they catch the perps.

Yes, suspects of the mother who claimed to be outraged after being questioned the night of the robbery (they were in the immediate area and fit the description of suspects).

"Meanwhile, a woman posted on Facebook on Sunday about the robbery, saying she was outraged that members of her family, who are black, were unjustly the target of police attention while they left the Fair.

The woman said she wept at the implied message to her son, "You're a man now. A black man. Don't you forget it," she posted. "I guess they had what they came for. Their names. Their (dates of birth). But they took something else that night."

I was there on the 250k person day. Sweet Martha was pumping out cookies like gangbusters. It looked like a solid 100 people deep on alll sides.

Because it's Two black guys? I'm trying to see how 2 unnamed suspects, with no description other than they are black and were at the fair is it immediately evident that it was in fact the Two that were arrested.

In the first article it says the younger one had just turned 18 and they were presumed to be father and son. The actual men who where arrested the younger one is 20 and presumably not the son of the elder, who is 35.

    From your posted article:

"When they asked if they were suspects, the officer said, "THEY are," indicating the woman's husband and the couple's teenage son, she wrote on Facebook. The woman has since deleted the post, and she asked the Pioneer Press not to name her.

The husband told the officer they weren't involved, and the family drove to their St. Paul home. About an hour after they went to sleep, there were "no less than seven cop cars at their house, several officers inside, one with an assault rifle" and officers pounding on the door, the woman posted.

Police asked for the names and dates of birth for the father and son, which they gave them. It was the son's 18th birthday."

The two suspects are not the same two that were questioned by police in the earlier article.

Seems like a typo. Every other story is saying "at least $10,000"
