Have been a US-05 fan for many years, but M07 British Ale (Mangrove Jacks) is a much better flocculator and probably better for American IPAs (IMHO). Drinking one right now...and... tasted one right out of the fermenter @ 2 weeks that was already carbed (for the most part) and was mind blowing and had a cake that was more solid/flan like : ) than 1968. A lot of other variables, but for $1 more per sachet, I think I have a new house yeast.

Would you mind posting your grain bill, mash temp, and mash length? I could estimate specs and add the strain to BrewCipher.

What fermentation temp? Does it taste "English"? I assume since you like it for IPAs, it comes across very clean, yes?

Have you used 1272 (Am Ale 2) or 1450 (Denny's Favorite) before?

I too like English yeast strains in IPAs. I'll have to give this one a try.

On the commercial side, chillwave uses WLP013 London ale, and I believe I read that Conan is thought to be of English decent

Very clean and quite a bit drier than 1272...have not used 1450 tho

I fermented at 64 and ramped to 68 on day 3
