Not just any old extraordinary men. They have to be gentlemen.

 

This seems like a very good problem to have

 

Okey dokie, after figuring out what's left from the wreckage of the party, here's what we're able to put on-tap today:

Lomaland Fermentorium (on-tap when we open)
Mega Black House--tasters & League growler fills
Pinot Saison--tasters, pints, & League growler fills
Monsters' Park w/ rye barrel-aged coffee--tasters only (there's very, very little of this left)

North Park Flavordome (on-tap an hour or two after we open)

Since I spaced the whole event I guess these (tasty) remnants will have to do. Will stop by after work.

 

How do I get into the League? Tell me! My beer fridge almost has room and that is kinda unaccpetable!

 

I need more MT in my life. I want to join the League.

I need a beanie. My dome gets cold in the winter.

 

A) I wish I lived closer to MT
B) Since I don't, I would happily throw money at MT to help open an L.A.-area tasting room...

 

My current day dream is to build a small pilot brewery & tasting room in L.A. The 20 gallon pilot system we have at the brewery is wildly inadequate, and it takes about the same amount of work to make 20 gallons as it does to make 10 barrels. So an L.A. pilot brewery would be a way of keeping more of the tap lines filled at all of our tasting rooms (which often have a pitiful 6-7 beers pouring), while also giving people in L.A. a place to try all of our stuff. So if anyone wants to loan me, like, $500k, I'll totally make it happen.

And of course, by L.A., you mean Orange County, right?

 

Might as well join the brewery circle of the 57/91. That would make one awesome brewery crawl/hop.

 

Yeah, OC's a nice compromise for this hypothetical, definitely-not-hapenning-anytime-soon tasting room.

I know this isn't CoffeeAdvocate, but I thought a few of you would be interested to know that we just tapped the remaining cold press coffees from the anniv party at the Lomaland Fermentorium:

1) Black House Blend (this is always on but the growler fills are new): tasters, pints (to stay or to-go), 64oz growler fills, & League growler fills
2) Red Wine Barrel-Aged Ethiopian Derar Ela: tasters, pints (to stay or to-go), & League growler fills
3) Rye Barrel-Aged Sulawesi Toraja: tasters, pints (to stay or to-go), & League growler fills
