    Being signed up for their alerts doesn't guarantee that you will see any bottles though. For something that sells out so quick, it likely wouldn't have even triggered an alert before their entire stock was depleted. Have noticed this happen with RR releases on there fairly often...

    Just reviewed the DO numbers from these canning runs, and they were within current specifications. So nothing out of the ordinary here. It's possible that there were spikes in DO at certain points in the run, which could explain your experience. Certainly a combination of a brief spike in DO and warm storage would accelerate oxidation. I will say that I've now shared three 20-packs at parties and all the beers have tasted great to me, and we've had nothing but positive feedback from fans. Doesn't mean your experience isn't real, just that it isn't widespread. Shoot me a message, and I'll find a way to get you some fresh cans.

    Cheers & thanks,

    I have always had great tasting cans of all the beers from MT when I purchased them at the brewery and they were properly stored cold. Warm conditions kills IPAs and hoppy beers.

    @ModernTimesJacob

    Will any of the new glassware from the anniversary party become available online or at the tasting rooms?

    A bit belated, but I had to come in to say what an amazing time I had at Sunday's party (session 3). The crowd was fantastic in size and attitude and the beer was top notch as expected. Absolute worth the trip from Colorado and I will definitely make it back again.

    I had been dying to try Monster's Park for a while and I fell in love with the two versions I was able to try (BA w/ Coconut & Cacao, and BA w/ Coffee on nitro), but I have to say the Blanc on Blanc on Blanc was INSANE on CRAZY on DELICIOUS and the anniversary IPA could be the only IPA I ever drink (if you canned it and I could actually buy it).

    So, @ModernTimesJacob thanks for throwing one hell of a party and even though though my bank account may be a bit upset with you for the terrible (and awesome) things I did at the merch table and my liver definitely hates you (along with Beachwood, The Bruery, Toolbox, and Alpine... it was a good weekend to say the least) I wouldn't trade away that weekend for anything!

    So tonight we cracked both a 10yr and 12yr, all I can say is wow.
    Wait until a few tasting groups crack these and the boards are going to light up ISO.

    But there's going to be such little to go around in the open market with it being a 1 per person/session bottle. Basically whomever did buy it, probably won't trade it anyway.

    I know that the 10yr on K&L's website was going at a limit of 4 per person. Not sure if the 12yr was only 1 per or also had a couple going out.

    How was it? I've only cracked the 10yr so far since I had one more of those than the 12yr. The 10yr was exceptional. Given all the hype for a certain other recent release, I'm amazed these bottles aren't garnering similar attention. I guess people are really just enamored with the vanilla.

    I'm not sure you can even factor the K&L supply into the mix since it was such on the down low, the quantities were in the less than 50 range and again, if someone had the 10y, they were getting the 12y to do together. The majority of these are just for personal consumption that the trade ground will not have many floating around.

    Haven't popped it yet ... waiting for the "right" time and meal (I like to pair my beer with good eats) ... should be stunning I would assume :slight_smile:

    That's because everyone who attended the MT anniversary left happy and didn't immediately clamor to the boards to complain about the release... I am half-kidding here of course. Neither the 10 or 12 year MP was on draft so with the exception of a few folks who have opened their bottles, very few people have tried the beer and thus people aren't hearing much about them. FO was on draft at the Bruery anniversary and then again at release so a lot more people had tried it and reviewed it.

    That all being said, I would love to get a bottle of the 12-year along with ANY other MP bottles out there. I'll be posting up in the trade forums soon with Casey, Crooked Stave, etc etc to try and make this happen.

    A lot of people in Orange County are getting their Fisher Price My First Whale with FO and behaving as such, not really surprising. I think a lot of people realize Modern Times is cranking out great BA stouts but considering they already can't even come close to meeting demand, I'm okay with not adding even more hype.

    Anyone know when the last batch of Oneida will be canned, just want to make sure I stock up before it's gone.
