Some breweries make it so complicated about their beer, when it comes, out,what is seasonal. Modem Tones is brilliant at making these sort of promotional items. Makes me remember that I need to try protocosmos and looks good enough to hang on a window at a liquor store or at a beer bar. Good job Modem Tones and get on a Modem Tones beer. Your friends on Beer Advocate are clamoring for it.

 

They put out a rather nice blog post today about expansion and various plans in action. Quite the nice little read.

Hey Jacob! My gf just surprised me with a moderntimes coffee subscription. Would I still get that whisky barrel aged coffee this month?

 

I was going to put it on my ceiling but I think your right. The wall next to the bed would be less obvious.

 

Scored some Protocosmos yesterday, will crack one probably tonight or tomorrow perhaps alongside a Booming Rollers. Looking at that calendar, I will buy everyone of those monthly releases for certain.

 

I responded on Instagram, but the answer is unfortunately not for this round. I posted the photo of the bag on the day the subscriptions shipped, so new sign-ups will get next month's shipment. There will be some bags available for ordering individually online and buying in our tasting rooms soon, although that volume goes down every month as we get more and more subscribers.

It's not even bottled yet, I'm sure he meant that the announcement will be made via email when it's time to do so, not that you should start refreshing your email every 30 seconds when he posted that.

 

Thanks for the sage advice - I've literally been hitting F5 on my gmail nonstop since yesterday afternoon. Finger is getting tired...

 

I haven't been so enamored with a brewery as I have been with Modern Times. Really great stuff, can't wait for City of the Sun coming back at the end of this year.

 

Seriously. I get unreasonably excited about each and every one of their releases. It's unbelievable how consistently delicious their beers have been

 

I'm a proud member of the Modem Tones Fanboy Club

 

I will be even moreso if/when City of the Dead could become a year round offering. Or at the very least a constant flow of Monsters Park.
