All of their releases have been non-trustee, I doubt that would be likely to change in the near future.

The events usually say no trustees/proxies.

Email newsletter going out tonight, but only one of the three is sour. Here's the PSA I'm tacking on to this sale due to widespread misinformation:

REMINDER: Brettanomyces does not make beer sour; lactobacillus and pediococcus does. Funky Universal Friend, therefore, is not a sour beer. Mostly Brett Dancing Plague is sour because we give it a brief lactobacillus fermentation prior to a Brett fermentation (ergo "Mostly Brett".)

Also, we just tapped a fresh batch of Neverwhere, our 100% Brett Trois IPA, which makes this blog post relevant again.

    Cheers & thanks,

I was literally just talking to someone about Neverwhere and how I had it at Monkey Paw way back when and it was the beer that turned my head in terms of Modern Times doing great things.

    email just came out

Cool stuff: we've got three tasty beers that have been funkifying in bottles for several months now. Each month we've been cracking them open to see how they're progressing, and we now proclaim them exceedingly awesome.

Two are variations on the same theme: Universal Friend, our saison that blurs the line between wine and beer. Both versions have been mingling with four different Brett strains and getting progressively earthier, more complex, and thunderously funky. The Pinot Grigio edition is dry, floral, nuanced, and a great match with almost any meal. The Pinot Noir edition is outrageously purple, with an intense grape-centric juiciness and layers of barnyard radness.

The final bottle is Mostly Brett Dancing Plague, a Berliner Weisee so-named because it's given a careful initial kettle souring (with lactobacillus) followed by a lengthy fermentation with 12 different Brett strains. Tart through and through, it offers an earthy wheat character followed by notes of hibiscus, pineapple, and lemon zest.

Bottles go on sale tomorrow at 10am via Brown Paper Tickets, and we'll celebrate the first day of bottle pick-ups this Thursday at the Lomaland Fermentorium. You can purchase bottles here (the password protection will disappear before the sale begins.) PLEASE READ ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

    @ModernTimesJacob

Might want to change the text in the body of that BPT site
    "
    RELEASE PARTY:
Your tickets admit you to a release party on Thursday, October 16th, 2015 at the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room starting at 12pm."

While it is listed elsewhere as thursday the 15th on the same page you just know somebody is going to complain that they missed the release party or something.

The bottle counts were pretty high so I wasn't too afraid of getting shut out. But yeah, scored mine as well.

I think they did not sold out because of most people waiting for Veritas. At 12:02 everything will be gone. Either way, got my berliners

I still have some of the original BA Monster's Park release. Anyone have luck with recarbing the beer somehow, or is it okay as is.

I've drank a couple now, even though it's flat, the beer is amazing! Drink with confidence!
