Modern times posted this on their FB page earlier today. Happening right now: bottling our very first sour. The beer is Empty Hats, a red wine barrel-aged Oud Bruin. Bottle conditioning will take a couple of weeks, then if all goes well, we'll bottle up the rest of the sours. Not sure on release date yet, but perhaps sometime in December. Looks like it will "most likely be a brewery only release on BPT with a long pick up window".
If it's as good as the one at the anniversary party, I'm definitely getting full allocation of it. Amazing stuff.
Oh snap, now another reason to head on down and try to find the location again. That feeling when you are spam checking google maps only to realize it is around the corner from your physical location.
i didn't see a mention of anything special for members...was there anything special done for members for the stout releases?
More details on the release, including the extra benefits for League members, will be forthcoming once we've got all this stuff bottled & carbed; it's a little premature right now. We ran just the Oud Bruin to make sure our bottle conditioning regimen works. If everything goes smoothly with the Oud Bruin, we'll proceed with the rest, and then once they're all ready to go, we'll put together the release info.
