Black house is delicious. I hope we get most of the releases. Did you see Total Wine is carrying Heavy Seas as well.
I saw Heavy Seas last time I was in TW but haven't heard much about them so it was an easy pass. BTW - can't wait for BB to hit AZ. Probably my all time favorite when you factor in the price and format. Still have 8 bottles from last year (out of 20) so probably won't buy as much this year as I did last year.
Great news! Of all the breweries I reasonably thought might expand distribution to our fine state, MT was near the top of the list! I think they're churning out some of the best beers SD has to offer, and that's saying something. Odd that there has been no further news yet today. Yet, looking at the distributors map on MT website shows central and southern Arizona as green with a flag that has a red B on it.
Yep. My local bottle shop confirmed that they'll be getting MT in mid-November. Can't wait. Hopefully we'll get some of their limited release stuff in addition to their core stuff.
I got my first Modern Times beer a couple years back as an extra in a trade, when I hadnt even heard of them. Then checked them out in San Diego earlier this year. It may be my favorite 'shelf' beer brand. I hope they make it to Texas sometime soon (also trying to get into the Society this year. Quarterly trips to SD cant be the worst thing in the world)

Welcome, and congratulations on being the flavor of the day. Word of advice, if you want lasting staying and selling power hire a local rep before the next 'new kid on the block' rolls into town and kicks your brand to the side. You make good beer but that isn't enough in this market alone to keep yourself fresh and in front of the crowd. We have a plethora of great beer available to us and we are happy you are going to be available, just don't make the same mistakes that other good breweries have made by relying on a distributor to promote your beer long term.
From what I understand, a local rep has been hired. I, for one, are extremely excited to have you in AZ. Always make it a point to stop by the Fermentorium when I’m in SD. Last thing I think you are is the “flavor of the day”, and you will be an excellent addition to retail shelves and taps around town. Can’t wait to see what goodies you bring out for launch week! I'm inclined to agree. We don't see enough California distro that the rest of the country doesn't also get (Stone, Ballast Point, Sierra Nevada, and the like). Hopefully this sees better distribution than Mike Hess, though. A few old cans of the house IPA at specialty bottle shops isn't really what I have in mind.

Looks like a solid slate of events - will definitely be checking at least one out. Have only had a few Modern Times beers, but we had a coffee subscription in the office for a few months, and loved every bag of it!
I'll be at Spokes in a few hours. Looking forward to it. Any idea when we should expect to be able to pick this stuff up at bottle shops?
Pretty sure it has begun already - in Tucson, anyway. I'd imagine it'll be pretty widespread within the next week.
Odd. I'd have assumed the release parties would precede the packaged release, but that's good news anyway.
