    To my fellow Atlantans........

Sampled this year's last night and it was really nice. Monday Night certainly has gotten their act together on this beer as compared to last year's. Its clear to see why the GABF Gold was issued.

It seemed really well blended and the bourbon was present, not a bomb like last year. At $10 a bomber its one I'll be definitely grabbing more of.

As for every other Monday Night beer, I don't hold much hope. At least this one will be around for awhile.

    Sweetest.

Funny, I thought last year's was lacking in the bourbon flavor.

I agree. Tasted more just oak aged instead of Bourbon barrel. Hopefully this year isn't even lighter than that. Well balanced beer though, if thats what you're looking for.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I thought Gun Show was an outstanding beer from Monday Night. A very good attempt at a Tripel style with both the honey and pear working together as great flavors.

The one I had last year was incredibly hot; call it inconsistency I suppose. I'm pleased with what I have had thus far. Has anyone else popped a cap on one?

Jus got 1 in a trade from @wcu80, and USPS is making Sunday deliveries in my neck of the woods, looking forward to trying it in the next couple of weeks!

Last year was tasty, I thought there was some inconsistency from bottle to bottle that I had, but nothing really skewed out too far.

Some had a bunch of bourbon and others were light on it with more oak. Perhaps they learned to blend better this go around, but it's a fine beer.

As a whole, I was looking for more vanilla and bourbon notes in the beer last year. Got a few bottles of this years, but haven't opened any. Sending some out this week as extras in boxes, so I hope it's good.

To note though, the keg I got last year that was saved for our anniversary this past August was much more bourbon forward than the bottle I had. With them being brand new to barreling, I'm sure it was just blend inconsistency. Not downplaying the bottle, the keg was just a lot better.

I had a couple bottles last year and must have lucked out because they were both excellent, I was really looking forward to this year's batch and wasn't disappointed. As others have said I think this was even better than last year's.

While perusing the reviews, I noticed that Monday Night BBA Draft Kilt has been listed as "retired." Is this correct? The beer was just re-released a month or so ago, and I've heard nothing about it being the last year for the beer. Just wondering.
