I make so much money that it's not even an issue.

In all seriousness, I try to limit myself to a 12-pack a week (~$15) plus a few beers out on a Friday or Saturday night. But, that is balanced against periods like last week where I spent ~$100 at Hill Farmstead, $30 at the Alchemist, and $100+ at Craft Beer Cellar ($85 of which was Westy XII). My wife was having a minor freak out, until I showed her my Xmas bonus, at which point she wanted to know where I was taking her out to dinner on Friday.

So you are saying I don't qualify to be on here because I spend roughly $20 on average every week? Yet I 've drank 120+ and counting different beers since June.... Just saying.

WAY TOO MUCH!!! I keep telling myself that, since I'm new to this (only turned 21 in August) that I'll slow down after I try all of the different styles. But with all of the different seasonals and 1-offs, I just don't know. Oh well, it's my preferred hobby, and after a few more beers, I won't care anyway.

If I ever added it all up I would have to take it to the grave with me because if my wife found out the number she would probably murder me lol

Probably spent upwards of $1200 this year because I went crazy just trying lots of stuff I could get my hands on. Looking to scale it back a few hundred next year as I get more particular about hunting down the really reputable stuff and just buying more of what I know I love. I already have a $2000 a year comic book habit plus video games and movies and shit, don't need more income going out on hobbies.

Close to 4K. After reading this thread it's nice to know I'm not as sick as I'd suspected.

Steady diet of homebrew and Sierra Nevada/Schell/ Summit 12pks keeps me at about $600 a year. In about '07 it was probably triple that when buying all the limited release stuff out there. Have zero interest in that now, and my bank thanks me.

I've scaled way back from previous years. This year my liquor store/bar spending is $1367 - to date. Can't determine what portion of my Whole Food spending is for beer, nor can I determine exactly what portion of my restaurant spending is on beer.

After trying Heady Topper I don't need to spend money on beers that aren't as good.

Enough to where I can drink what I want and still live comfortably. If I'm low on funds I wont buy beer. I don't like to think about an exact number because then its no fun :slight_frown:

So far $812.75 with 13 days left in the year. Probably make one more beer run before the end of the year.
