I spent around $2,500 in beer this year. Damn you Jester King, Three Floyds, Founders, Deschutes, Dogfish Head, Goose Island, Bell's, Sierra Nevada, Ommegang, Brooklyn, Stone, New Belgium, Great Divide and Great Lakes... You make too much tasty beer

I would say right around 3k including trips/lodging and going out to bars. On actual bottles, more around 1500-2k.

Somewhere around $5,200 this year not including shipping costs or money at bars.

Edit: then there is money spent homebrewing... :-o

Oh geez, I'm probably $4000-$5000/year in bottles alone. Throw in days like Hunahpu Day and the 2x/week I go out...yikes.

Started Untappd on Jan 28th and I have 1806 check-ins...so that makes sense:confused:

I wish I had a job that would allow me to spend $7,500 on beer. Until then, $7,304.18 will have to do.

Started keeping track when a similar thread got me thinking a couple of months ago. I buy beer for immediate or very soon thereafter consumption (I do not trade or buy and cellar). October=$254 (FBS 4-pk, cases of Flower Power & Great Lakes sampler, rauchbiers, etc) and November=$192 (cases of Founders Harvest, Two-Hearted Ale, SA Winter Classics, and GL Eliot Ness, plus various Xmas ales, etc.). Pints out at restaurants included. Prorated that's $2,700 a year, although I expect that October thru January are my peak beer-buying months. Maybe I'll find myself more around $2,500 come 9/30/13.

Exactly the right amount. Any more and I'd be foolish, any less and i wouldn't be able to buy my cases of Pliny at $120 / case
