Yes. I got two and am trading one of them for something in BBT range, which sells for between $200 and $300.

If I’d known I’d be there with some bottles I’ve been trying to get rid of. Sharing. Looks like monks Anaheim.

I get that you don't like it, but saying it tastes like nothing means something is wrong with your tastebuds. You might have COVID. I also find it funny you then said you'll be going over to Bottle Logic, as if their stouts are any less sweet or syrupy.

I had a pour of it while picking up bottles, and it was a little too sweet for my taste. I didn't think it was bad, just not what I currently like. Last year I would have loved that beer.

Just seeing this. Been busy preparing tonight’s dinner. Haven’t been to BL in probably 5 years now. Nothing there interest me these days. I’d stop at monks for LA Hat cans or pour. I’m still on Korea time zone as we just got back yesterday morning at 2am. Would have brought a can or 2 of some of Korean craft IPA’s to share. Also have a BA imperial stout from our Kyoto trip last November. I have several stout bottles I need to open and share. I hardly drink stouts these days as they are too strong to drink solo. Have fun at BL.

Conversely, I thought this batch of balts was phenomenal. I’d highly recommend seeking this one out if you enjoy coconut

I haven't tried this batch of BA Twin Little Stars, but I preferred the non-BA version of it. Can't say I've had it since their last Anniversary festival back in 2019 though.

I had a pour of BALTS on Saturday. It was very sweet, syrupy. I still loved the flavor (that combo of flavors is my cheat code for stouts), but I got almost no barrel flavor, just sweetness. I'm eager to pop a bottle and see if it's any different.

I picked up some LA Hat cans last week and they were great. Not only that but priced a bit more reasonably ($18.50) rather than what they typically have available. I wish they’d slow down with all the ddh, tdh, DIPA, TIPA and whatever else they use to justify the higher price and just stick to regularly hopped normal IPAs. These hit the spot for me when I’m in the mood for a hazy. I guess I’ll just vote with my dollar and go buy more today.

Maybe I’m just getting old. Now get off my lawn…

I won't judge your taste. You like what you like, and that's awesome. For me, the TIPAs are all I really want from them. I don't mind the DDH DIPAs, but I definitely think they shine at 10%.

I'll be in San Fran next week and then Napa the week after. Any suggestions on when I should get cans shipped? Or is it a bad idea overall to get cans shipped to the hotel?
