No. That soulless greedhead Frank McCourt and the politico suckups supporting him have not gotten approval for that ill-conceived boondoggle yet.
The Frank McCourt Dodger days were some dark times. He ran them into the ground and still got rewarded for his ill deeds by selling the team for hefty money sacks.
That’s how big corp works. They squeeze every last nickel and dime out of you and shit you out. Look at Artie and them Angels.
The Dodgers actually had a few good years and two trips to the NLCS during them McCourt years. But it wasn’t with him trying. They had a trade for CC Sabarhia lined up but McCourt nixed it because Cleveland wouldn’t pay for the rest of his salary that year
Heard another fight broke out last night at the Echo Park location. I was there earlier in the day and it was pretty chill, but saw they hired a security guard this time around.
Hazebr0z gotta haze. Def not a good look for them IMO. This makes 2 incidents and they haven't even had their grand opening (as far as i know) I have never heard of fights breaking out at any brewery in LA in my life until this monkish spot opened.
Gone like my last paycheck. Playah. If we ever see a Craft Beer Hall of Fame, they gotta come up with some kind of category for IT.
Got more info. Apparently two guys were beefing for a while before it got physical, and punches were thrown and glasses smashed. Took security a minute before they actually did anything. The guy who started the fight tried to sucker punch the other guy while getting escorted out, missed and hit some person minding their own business. Not surprised they’ve delayed the grand opening celebration with fights happening.
This was my first thought as well. And I’ve been to plenty of breweries over the last 20 years or so. And plenty of them were in sketchy areas. How is that neighborhood? Not familiar with the area.
