Haze wise its Mumford. If you want numerous different styles its HPB and Modern Times

 

I like HPB and MT hazies over Mumford personally. Depends on Mumford’s hazies but I still feel like they’re catching up.

MT is more dialed in, HPB has more interesting hazies like Losing Control.

 

Have your family snag one of the larger taproom tables and THEN fall in line. Wednesdays and Fridays appear to be the can release day with most frequency (lately, and that's subject to change obviously) but Friday releases have been pretty relaxed.

Cans have only ever been "left over" once or twice. Once when they shut the can line down and moved all sales to the tap room, but still sold out that day. And last week when Foggy Window made it to the next day.

Hey! JFK2LAX (but different)...maybe I should overnight wait again.

 

This is one of the best new recipes Monkish has brewed IMHO. A combo of South African hops and a little Amarillo creates a much more citrus driven,( think lots of sweet red grapefruit ), west coast DIPA with that signature Monkish body. I know everyone is losing sleep over the Saturday blam blam but do not sleep on this one, it's that good. After you get your cans and goblets stop in for a fill of this on your way out.

Yup, the perfect storm, add to all this that we are finally going to have beautiful sunshine as well. I'll take a guess and say that when they open and announce the line count it could be 400 + Since I don't do dairy and this revamped recipe of JFK-LAX is loaded with it I'll sit back and live vicariously through all of you. Trickle Down sounds intriguing but not enough to weather that storm tomorrow.

Not quite sure why they would pre-announce a 150 case release of their most anticipated drop ever, this could have easily been a random drop today, and even that would have been a shitshow... but okay. Guaranteed clusterfuck unlike anything that’s been seen at Monkish in quite some time.
