Yes. People will actually purchase the bottle, open and drink in the tasting room versus purchasing the bottles and taking them home for consumption.

I'm sure that you actually drink your purchases, as oppose to others that will resell them.

I don't understand the question. Some bottles are sold unopened that you can take home, and some bottles are opened and must be consumed on-site. It's clear on their website which bottles are available for take home.

Thought I heard somewhere certain bottles must be to go and some must be for on site only. Something to do with the license. But I could be way off

While on our way to a Christmas party in Redondo Beach last night, thought we'd stop to fill a couple growlers and was pleasantly surprised to find cans of this still available. This is top shelf stuff, great hop bill. Liking the fact that cans are lasting much longer with the larger batch sizes lately.

    Cheers,

A buddy of mine said it was good, but he’d take a Bourbon OE over this.

I haven't had many other barleywines but thought it was really good. I had also spoken with someone in line that had said he was really big on them and had most of the sought after ones, and he thought it was up there with the better ones out there. huge toffee notes is what I recall most lol.
