Monkish Brewing (2021)

What will their first can release be for 2021?

 

any of you experienced Monkish fans think there will be cans next Wed or Thurs, 1/13 or 14?

 

They’ve been releasing cans nearly every Wednesday over the last few months. Most weeks they’ll have another release on either Thursday or Friday. There was some issue a couple of weeks ago where they cancelled all cans slated for that week but they seem to have gotten past whatever the issue was. I’m confident that if you check their site at around 10am on both the 13th and the 14th that you’ll be able to land some cans.

 

First, all their beers taste the same. Now they’re just brushing off a COVID scare and going back like business as usual without any announcement of possible COVID exposure to their customers. Stop assuming shit if you don’t know what happened.

 

Bro, their galaxy and citra hop combo beers are different than the other beers that have citra and galaxy. It’s the ratio of hops and let us not forget when they throw that Nelson in then we get the foggiest windows ever!

Citra + Galaxy is different than Galaxy + Citra

 

Yes.. they pretty much have a release every Wednesday @10am

 

Hang my Boots is excellent. I haven’t had a lot of triple IPAs of late, let alone Monkish haze since the pandemic but this one top-tier stuff from them.

I’ll blow my beer budget on this. Although it will be a shit show, as usual, for Monkish stouts.

in non-malty news, Living Script was a nice return to form for Monkish. Their yeast blend was present but not overwhelmingly so. The use of bourbon gin barrels was interesting. Hope they release more bottles like this
