Looks like on the checkout they may have a choice of pickup between OG and OC locations. There's an edit button but for now it's just the OG address. Just my guess.

 

I noticed that. Now that Anaheim Brewery is officially closed, I‘m curious how long the transition will be until they’re officially open. I’m assuming it’s a relatively turn-key operation, so could be a pretty quick turnaround.

FWIW, when Green Cheek took over Barley Forge's former space, it indeed was relatively quick.

 

They were better before Green Flash ruined them!...oh wait, wrong thread.

 

Following up on my post and digging through BA archives ... GC announced on 12/11/19 they were taking over Barley Forge and their opening day was 1/15/20 ... but different set of circumstances ... but in general, it should be quick

 

Probably going to take at least a few weeks to decorate the new place with new pictures and signs.

 

This current batch of foggy window is TREMENDOUs. Definitely recommend a pick-up if u haven't already.

There’s a lot of Monk cans to be had on their online store. That California Freshie sounds good. Too bad I’m going the opposite direction today. Maybe some of it will be left over for tomorrow?

 

I've been slowly whittling down all the beer in my fridge to a not so overwhelming amount. Wasn't gonna buy anything but Monkish had an option for a mixed case with three different beers, which I don't think I've seen them offer before, so... back to overwhelming amounts of beer I guess.

Lunar Aspirations sounds really good though.

 

Same here. Already have a ton of Monkish in the fridge but damn if I cannot pass up a WCIPA and a Triple-dry-hopped anything from Monkish. I'll have to take a pic for posterity after this next pickup.

 

The availability has been pretty nice lately. Not as much of a rush for cans now, and the bottles sit for even longer.

 

Has anybody who ordered on Friday received a shipping notification yet? Or are they not shipping until today?

 

There was an issue with my order and it looks like I won't be getting to try Lunar Aspirations after all, which is a bummer. I'll be getting a case of Deeper Concentration / Illusion Evolution / The Plural of Vinyl instead though so I can't complain too much.

How is the Lunar Aspirations?

 

Illusion Evolution is my favorite Monkish I’ve tried in a long time. Two 4-packs is not gonna last very long.

 

Might be worth the drive tomorrow. DDH triples are always next level as well.

 

Question from an east coaster here. Not too familiar with Monkish and did not peruse the last 3.5 pages or so. Does Monkish have any flagship beers? I'm interested in seeking out their "simple" Belgian Styles like Feminist, Anomaly, and Shadowboxing. Are these regular rotationals, flagship, or one-offs?
