Zero, Hops Of Fury IMHO is still the best TIPA I’ve had. Love Henry’s beers but I’ve never been a fan of their TIPAs, way to much back end yeast burn.

Ya know, I agree with you 100%, for those back there they get 1 four pack of beer, how much is your life/time worth ? But there are a lot of " new money haze bro's " some who frequent this thread, that somehow justify this nonsense. As someone planning to come to the area next month and hoping to finally try some Monkish, reading through parts of this thread has been somewhat depressing....at least for the hope of getting some cans to bring home. On the flip side, if I have my wife and Mom come with me in line, it seems like I’ll fit right in! And that isn’t far off from how some do it here in Chicago too.

And just in case someone doesn’t realize that wife/Mom thing was tongue in cheek, they wouldn’t put up with standing in that line.

As someone who's drunk a *lot* of NEIPAs, both local and distant, you're not missing that much. Lots of SoCal brewers are doing the style at Monkish level or better (HPB, Homage, even Beachwood) and none of them are really at the level of the OGs like Tree House/Trillium/etc. If you really want to try Monkish, set up an IP trade, or set up your luggage to accommodate growlers.
