Unlike some other spots, Monkish does a CO2 purge on growlers before filling them. Helps prevent oxidation and keeps things carbonated for a good period of time. I wouldn't hold it forever though, drink within a week or two.

To funny, amazing how some people always have to take a jab at something or somebody for what ever reason they feel it necessary, this seems to be a common thread in most of your posts I notice. I didn't say that I was going to open them immediately did I ? Can I let them sit for a few weeks and then report if this batch was over-hyped. Bragging ? Far from it, just a realistic fact and observation.

I would personally like to know if it is worth seeking out or not. I started seeing the NY shitlords trade posts and would need to decide if I should deal with them and try to talk them down from asking for a BBT or just avoid at all costs.

It would be nice to see the upcoming Evil Twin collab be a stout, or a strong ale. Monkish cans need a change of pace. Surprised the Cycle collab wasn't a stout, actually. Time to get out of the comfort zone, Henry.

 

Maybe they can make a hoppy stout with the reshuffled hop bill they use on 'new' IPA releases...

 

Im thinking its more along the lines of Cycle wanting to pick Henry's brain on his IPAs. Same with DeGarde

Hazebros and teku trading aside I'm looking forward to seeing the tap list! The website has a page (nothing up yet) for the Anniversary tap list so I imagine we'll see something soon. Small teaser on IG today had Trillium Mettle and DDH Stillings Streets.

Hopefully there's a good mix of wild ales, stouts, etc to the crazy amount of IPAs.
