Sold out in 0 seconds????

Just as soon as it opened I tried to order a ticket and was told it was sold out.

 

EventBrite really needs to fix that god damn zero quantity bug in the app.

 

Pretty much. The second it switched over to tickets, I clicked to buy and after indicating amount, it was gone.

Its not sold out. Its unavailable. That means people still have them in carts.

 

Which, save a few exceptions, is really the exact same thing.

 

I've switched to using a desktop for all sales because of this bug. It's kinda crazy how long the bug's existed and they haven't done anything about it, gotta be close to a year at this point.

I haven't striked out on any sales since switching to desktop, I got my Fruit Cart just fine. It's definitely a glitch. If you refresh the moment a sale goes live on the app, the quantity is selectable but either shows a blank field or "0" as the only options. It's literally happened for every sale on Eventbrite I've done on the app since August of last year. Never had any issues before that with sales, and app updates haven't fixed anything. I quit the app and switched to desktop earlier this year and haven't encountered any problems since. It's pretty well documented, a ton of people have experienced it.

 

And now it's officially sold out.

 

The official "Sold Out" screen happened at 12:10.
Eh, oh well. I got to the quantity screen a few times and couldn't check out. Maybe I'll open my Batch 2 bottle to celebrate me not getting batch 3.

 

I had the quantity as selectable in the pop-up but when I chose the quantity, it was already unavailable. I was using a desktop.

 

Yeah, just have to refresh.

 

Damn first time in a while that the app failed me

 

The app always fails me, I've learned to always use desktop now.

 

TFW you have one in your cart but realize you can't make it to Torrence in time for the pickup.......

Thankfully a buddy missed out and sent me his EB login info so that he could get the bottle. Now we are setting up a little share later to drink it. =)
