I had all 3 of their ipa's on tap yesterday. All were so good. Ghetto Style was my favorite of the bunch.

Got a growler fill of Karate Kick last week -- tasting excellent right now. Like a lot of the other IPAs, felt it was actually better on delay than it was fresh at the tasting room.

I always sit on my hoppy Monkish beers for a while, they really benefit from it IMHO

Had it last night, filled a growler, it's good but needs to mellow out just a bit. FWIW, Karate Kick is drinking really well right now with some time on it.

    Cheers

I popped open my Jocking Joints growler that was filled in mid November last week. Smelled like fruit juice and tasted awesome. Still have a growler of Eric C filled the same day that I need to get to really really soon.

Busted open a Supa Dupa Fly on Wednesday and to my surprise, it was tasting god damn fantastic. I mean, that was almost half a year ago now.

Are you using just a flip top growler or one of those crazy co2 ones?

I think he's talking about a canned beer, not a growler. That one is supa dupa old.

Forgive me for being that guy, but is there a pattern to can releases? Gonna be in LA Dec. 28 - Jan 2 and wondering if any dates are more likely than others for a can release so I can plan. Thanks guys!

No real pattern, and lately the releases have been announced the day of. Just check their Instagram around noon the days you're here.

They'll announce whether they are planning can release on their website and they've been fairly consistent so far; that being said, the actual days are an unknown.

So did anyone else get cans of Cozy and Huddle? They were selling four packs today from a recent canning line run. However they ended up removing the labels because it didn't quite turn out as desired. Gonna taste one tonight and report back on it

I did. I went to get more fills of Shaneal O'Quille, which IMHO is one of the best doubles Henry has done in a long time, AND....saw cans in the cooler, was told that if you bought a growler you could buy a four pack too, they were apparently doing a practice run on non hoppy cans. Had CAH on tap earlier in the week and thought it was really good. Curious to see how it plays out in cans.

    Cheers,

Tasting one now, and it's really really good. Glad I grabbed a four pack. The mouthfeel is spot on with beers like single shot. I think if they pulled back on the sweetness just a touch and went for a bit drier feel then it would be top notch.
