    New monthly Monkish Thread

    Please read before you ask.

    IPA Releases:
    • Cans are typically released once a week, maybe more, maybe less.
    • Check Instagram for the announcement, which includes beer details, limits, etc.
    • Some canned beers are also available for growler fills/tasting room pours.
    • If not, there are Growler fill only IPAs that are released about once or twice a week.
    • Growlers can be Monkish brand, blank, or logo-covered.

    So is the 'pre- pre-' list pretty much gone? Feel like there have only been one or two online-first releases this year.

    Indeed. Juteux and Mas Juteux were together. Nomelhead was a taproom release.

    Correct and Mas Juteux was pre pre only for take home.

    They brewed a collaboration with Fonta Flora that I'm hoping sees an online release but I doubt it.

    Agreed. Really hope to get a shot at that one (seems likely, though, based on how much time the sours have lasted, vs. the IPAs). Fonta Flora's doing some excellent stuff in NC.

    Recently had my first Monkish (Se Acabo). I know they release a wide range of IPA's/DIPA's without frequent repeats. Is there a Monkish equivalent of Julius or Congress Street in the sense of being sort of a flagship?

    Maybe foggy window, foggier window, anything with a window in it. They have released a beer with window in it a few times.

    Check out the spreadsheet below for more info, but "core" beers so far have been Spock It and Foggy Window. Both have only been released 3 times.

    Foggy Window and Spock It. Really Real was also released twice and with how good it is, Im sure we'll see it again.

    Possible Monkish release tomorrow, saw employees walking out with cases of cans to their cars.

    Had a black top label with yellow font if that helps.

    Prolly just recycling old cans they've found laying everywhere at every bottle share on the monkish lots. Hopefully they've got a coupon for $2 a lb on aluminum.

    I just left an hour ago!
    I saw the employee leave with the cans as well.

    I liked perfected poem and la schmoove , but didn't love it enough to get a 64oz growler of either. I should of brought the small one.
