Monkish Brewing (March 2017)

Gotcha - Monkish is a few miles from me, so when they have a food truck, I'm especially open to going there. Also, while there are a couple of good spots in HPB's neighborhood, I find it to be pretty hipstered out. The record store a few doors down wanting $35 for a used Talking Heads record, $4 donuts, etc.

Hit me up. I've got a few.

 

It's about the same for me. There are so many craft-greatness out there these days. And HpB is one of them for sure. Road trip! But first cellarmaker.

 

I liked and unliked your post. I just couldn't leave it there with the dislike of no-guac. A revolution will rise. The anti-guac'ers (name still in the works). We will not tire. We will not falter (lolz, saying the same thing twice). We will not forgive. And we will not forget.

We also can't dance, but that is another revolution...one that will be settled on the beat beat floors in the FP yo.

The videos Im watching of these guys on IG hanging out down the street is hilarious and also utterly sad and pathetic. I could understand the difference between lets say cigar city hunahpu day with lines but this.. this is just tragic. RIP small businesses surrounding Monkish, down the street from Monkish and whatever nearby restaurants that will turn into a future porta potty .

It's official, Monkish beer culture has jumped the shark. On another note, this is NOT a great part of town, to put yourself on Western Ave at that hour is just asking for trouble. For Beer ?!?!,

Was idly considering going but after seeing the mention of lines already, I'm good with playing Zelda today and swinging by tomorrow to drink the non hazy kegs that the bros didn't touch.
