I figured they'd keep these to non-busy days to boost traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday (and maybe Thursday). Had planned to head down for some beer and food trucks with my wife. Not sure I'm going to keep those plans now. Dammit.

Also, opening at 2 and doing the release at 5 pretty much returns the line issue to what it was during the Saturday releases, no?

The line issues shouldn't be nearly as bad as the Saturday releases with the day-of announcement and Friday rush hour traffic to the south bay.

Was hoping they'd keep their announcements to day-of though as next Sunday is definitely going to be like the Saturday releases of old unfortunately...

21st Amendment would have been even better since their taproom is right next to AT&T park haha

Might have been a better dig if the Dodgers didn't get swept by the Giants at the end of regular season. Of course it didn't really matter since Dodgers clinched the division, but they could have also said they prevented the Giants from making it to post-season play. I mean...the Padres even swept the Giants at the end of the season.....

I'd second this, if only so that the Mets could've faced the Cards instead (or at least a Giants team coming off a one-game tiebreak with the Cards the day before).

Did people go home and put on their dodger gear? I saw none of these people the other day when the game was on here lol

Soooo cans are halfway done in an hour. I won't be down there for a while. I was dead serious about getting even an empty can. BM me. Lol

Kind of a bummer that they popped the doors at 3:30 for this release after specifying a 5pm drop. Those of us who could have made a 3:30 release as opposed to a 5:00 release got screwed, and now my girlfriend who made it their for a FIVE O'CLOCK release just got denied cans at 5:20?!?!?!?!?

Yeah it kinda sucks but I figure if you showed up at 5 the line would have been ridiculously long and you still would have missed out.

Ignoring the folks that went through multiple times at least lol

The recent weekday can releases pretty much sell out in 2 hours with their current allocations. I guess it just boils down to being at the right place at the right time. I like this method way more than the Saturday shit show/lot lizard spectacle that it was becoming. I would like to see the allocation's slimmed down so more people can get access to cans, hell they're going to sell out that afternoon/evening regardless, why not spread the love around a little more. And @PG2G, there will always be the gluttons that will take as much as they can to support their trading/ fiscal needs, nothing we can do about that. Regardless, with the amount of IPAs/DIPAs Henry and the crew are brewing its pretty easy to get your IPA fix relatively easy these days via the growler route,no complaints here.

    Cheers,

^ Based on the above, assuming they're out now? @
Yeah, I agree. Why not get beer into more (different) people's hands in the local area, versus supporting the obviously idiotic trade market more?
