Any you guys eat tofu soup? Korean style?

 

Yes, as often as I can. Partial to Beverly Soon Tofu on Wilshire.

 

Hiragana, actually. I could never remember kanji...too many of them.

 

Kaju Tofu in Garden Grove. One of the very first ones to open shop in California.
Haven't found one that has craft on tap. Would be nice to see one. IPA's would pair nice with hot spicy tofu soup and all the side dishes (Banchan).

 

Burritos are more my jam

I wasn't sure which "ji" to use, no idea what the last character is though.

 

The one I used is the most ubiquitous by far; the last character is a really common one as well.

 

I think that really means 'Godzilla sucks'

i admittedly haven't had it but need to try. have had my share of other korean soups though, in Seoul and in Koreatown. i like the spicy noodle beef soups. ultimate hangover cure

this is true story. You guys think line cutting is bad at monkish releases? You don't know about brioche line cutting when 85 degrees first opened in Irvine.

 

At least you have lines. You see this eye patch? I lost that one to the great Cabbage Patch Kid sale of 83. Young dumb punks get to camp out and eat...er... drink dino'smores because of the battles of your elders. Don't you forget that!

 

anymore IPA growler fills for the weekend?

 

Their new website updates pretty often, and lists out growler fills. No IPAs listed right now, but perhaps they announce one tomorrow (check Instagram/Facebook).

 

I find it funny they have a section of cans to go, like that will ever happen. Unless they start canning non ipas and even then...

 

It will happen soon. I foresee a heavily saturated "hazy juice" IPA market in the near future.

 

It's not totally reliable....I've seen growler fills listed on the website, but been denied when actually at the brewery. Most recently last week with Eating Other Editors....they sketchily said "not today", and when I told them it was listed on the website, they just claimed it can change.

I suggest calling ahead.

 

New IPA should be on for fills Thursday-Friday
