Monkish Brewing (September 2016)

Not sure if anyone saw, but they also stated they will be scanning IDs to prevent double allotments. Good for Monkish - stoked to see how the releases change from here on out.

 

Nice move on their part. I'm not even sure how long it will last on a weeknight release with traffic and all that jazz.

Traffic will be an issue. But not that bad on a Tuesday evening.
Will there be a line starting around 1ish? Don't believe so. Maybe 2 or 3.
I think it's very doable to hit up HbP at 5 and make it for cans at Monks. Or better yet Monks first then head up to HbP. But thats a lot of drive time on our f'd up freeways. Glad BW opens at 1130.

 

I saw it under the 'Releases' tab on their website; it's listed under weekday can release limits.

With this switch to weekday releases, it seems like Monkish is the new west coast Treehouse.

 

Kinda hope they don't even bother announcing them before opening if they are going to do weekday releases.

Ha ha ha, getting from Monkish to HPB during traffic peak hours in anything considered reasonable hours. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, maybe if you have the fast lane pass, but that 110... Talk about parking lot city.

So this is a good thing right? Weekday can release. Monk now has it's own canning machine that they are able to can anytime and release same day. They were using they same mobile canning machine that HpB uses. So they 1up'd them? A good move from Henry.
