I went for my Friday fills and walked into a triple can release with basically 20 people in front of me, got cans and filled growlers in under 30 minutes.

    Cheers

J-Loco made do this and I'm glad he did, one more fill and it's even drinking better with a couple weeks on it. Probably the best batch Henry has brewed IMHO. It's going fast so If your thinking of trying a fill I would highly encourage you to grab some ASAP.

    Cheers,

I just think of a release as a day of the week they’re selling at least one canned beer. So two releases is two days. Luckily today was three beers in the same release.

Loving my new schedule of working half day from home on Fridays. Makes Friday releases ez pz.

Glad you lucked out today, I did too, today was an anomaly as the majority of the time Monkish says " aiming for two releases this week " and they pull a double can release on release day 99% of the time thats it, today was completely out of the norm, including the 1st ever triple can release, seeing that I was going up for fills and walked into the can release was a pleasant but very expensive surprise !

    Cheers,

But they missed out if they didn't grab the one 4 pack allotment of Red Hop a really great pale ale, as well as Bizoot, IMO one of Henrys best Pils and the kind of beer I love in this hot sticky weather. From my vantage point yesterday most were getting the Red Hop but many passed on a world class Pils.

    Cheers,

Bizoot was fucking great. Since they didn't can "Numbers", I was really hoping for more than one four pack but oh well

I love this beer, but I've never had it canned. Lucked out into cans this Friday when I was going up for growler fills. I don't know if it's the can or that batch 4 is just that much more amazing, but damn, this is stupid good. This is Galaxy juice in it's otherworldly form.

    Cheers,

Yeah I hope it’s still available for more fills. Once I opened it, it didn’t last long

Bizoot was absolutely delightful. Wish I got cans, but didn't want to trek from Costa Mesa at 4pm (long work day) only to be rebuffed.

I went yesterday, still had Atomically on tap and fills, had the Bizoot. Feminist...was....there's something about that Tripel that doesn't taste quite like I remember.

Wow this might be the first release to ever reach 7pm. Twitter says 30 cases left of Lewis moving to front bar.

This batch had 196 cases, which has to be one of the biggest. Recently, When they have had batches near this size they have lasted until 7-8pm.
Larger batches probably last longer because the same 175 people can only buy their limits.

Guess I've never really paid any attention to case batches until late with the small supply on some of the double and triple can releases. Plus I do usually check twitter here and there just to see if it hits the average time of 5:30

According to Twitter, sold out status was reached at 8:53pm. Talk about cutting it close to closing time

Not really.. This was a big release for 21 & Lewis. 196 cases! I made it down there right around 15 cases left in the taproom.

Would appreciate some help. Traveling to SD for a convention 9/5 to 9/8. Thinking of either flying into LA on Wednesday, 9/5 and heading to Monkish or coming up after the convention on Saturday the 8th and flying out of LAX.

Happy if it's just growlers, but would love some cans. Would Wednesday or Saturday be better for that? If Saturday, wouldn't be there until noon the earliest. One advantage for Saturday is that I would get a hotel near Monkish and be able to stay and drink, then fly home on Sunday am. If Wednesday, it's more of a pickup and then off to SD.

Also open to trades if for Monkish fresh cans if there is anything someone wants from Chicago (sorry, deep dish pizza to messy to carry on the plane).

Lastly, is Smog City worth a visit? I see it's very close.

    Thanks in advance! Cheers

You won't get cans on a Saturday, you just have to be lucky on wednesday, and if they post it on IG, be there an hour or so before opening to get in line. And Smog City is def worth a visit, not a haze bros beer place, so others here may not fancy it as much. But good barrel program there.

Thanks! Last year I came on a Wednesday and showed up around 3:30 and was surprised to get cans. Missed the IG post. Maybe Wednesday will be better....
