Monkish Brewing

As far as Libertine, I'm always down to try new beers and give breweries a chance to change my opinion. But too many beers I have had from Libertine were way too Lacto forward, or had strong elements of acetic acid or diacetyl.

 

Gouden Foeder smelled like pure vomit.

Some of their other stuff was quite tasty tho...

 

Never ever never is too legit to quit.

They took an axe to their barrels and foeders after seeing this post. Monkish was clearly in over their heads.

 

Juteux is phenomenal, super funky and tart with the perfect amount of fruit. Very impressive.

 

Been waiting for K&L Wines to carry their beer. They have Olivia which i'm excited to pick up and try!

 

Any news on the Other Half/Monkish collab? I heard they got together weeks ago for the collab? Not into Monkish beers (their styles) but curious on this collab. Might have to give Monkish a third try.

 

I'm pretty sure it just happened very recently so the beer is probably going to take a bit of time to get fermented packaged etc. No idea what style it might be

 

There's also a collab with Jolly Pumpkin yet to be released

 

Doubt it will be ready anytime soon.

 

Black Kisses pre-presale email just went out for those on the list. Loved that beer last time around.

ah... I got one the day before the presale for those two, I'm assuming that's the general list.

 

The email said general pre sale Friday 2/6 at noon but the date is wrong
