Well, I was there pretty early on, but they had 4. Crux, Feminist, Rosa's Hips and Anomoly as I recall. TBH, they were my least favorite brewery in the South Bay (we only had 3), I only went there because happy wife, happy life and she hated the hoppiness of ESBC and Strand.

Now Monkish is probably my favorite; Henry is just killing it over there.

Nah, that was later on. I always thought he made it for me because it was his first "hoppy" beer, which he knew I wanted.

Saw nearly the same exact thing happen at the Run the Pigeon release. Two guys who were at the front of the line got their cans, put those in their car, then hopped back in line with their buddy who was a few people in front of me. Not only were they talking about potentially cracking the cans in line, one guy was bragging about cutting people during the Ground State release.

Craft beer brings out the best of people and the worst. But so much douche-bag behavior, really disheartening. I wandered over here from the Other Half thread and that has same posts about shitty, selfish behavior.

Back to the beer. No cans being released this Saturday. The beer shares in line, overal douchebaggery and beer chug videos continue the following Saturday, May 28th.

Maybe I missed something here but are we also still getting fruited Vellichor at some point in the near future? I know that they posted about raspberry, boysenberry and apricot Vellichor on Instagram a few weeks ago.

Did not make the last can release, but if the group of guys/gals in front drinking/sharing in line were probably the same as the first 3 releases. I believe they are friends with the Monkish peeps. Seen them high giving fist pumping and carting on a conversation like they knew each other. I'm sure they (Monkush) is aware of the sharing a going on in line.

I found an old pic I had of the tasting room before they put that window in.

Those are bottle-conditioning now, will probably be released in a few months.

i feel like most events i've been to are usually comprised of well-behaved people. it seems like a contradiction to me that someone would be an aficionado of fine beer - to the point that they're researching it and willing to wait in line for said beer - and also be obnoxious drunks at 10am. why bother with craft beer if you're into chugging and getting wasted?

don't get me wrong, of course i've seen people get drunk and rowdy (especially at festivals), but chugging beers in a parking lot is idiotic. i kind of wonder if IPA releases draw a different crowd than say wild ales. someone should do a study

early Barrelworks releases i went to people broke open bottles, but it was always subdued and on the down low.

This is the oldest Monkish pic I could find. My first trip. January 2013.
    These taster glasses were awesome.

Sole Ales released a hazy IPA last weekend called Kushy Clouds. They actually set up a "tap truck" in their parking lot to "warm up" the people in line, at 10:30am lol.

Good, hopefully all of the degenerates populate the Monkish line early so I can get my System of a Stout and a bomb lunch without having to roll my eyes too hard at assholes.

Boysenberry seems to have sold out quick. Got my bottle of cherry. I'm happy.
