You don't actually buy tickets to Monks dinners, but rather put in a reservation with your credit card and pay after the meal. They have not yet listed a price, menu, or beer list.

So, were they taking reservations yesterday without giving any of that info?

First pairing, Red Barn with Herr's BBQ chips. Most special beer: 2008 Angels Share. Price: $250 per person, but YOU GET TO HANG OUT WITH THIS GUY

Edit: I guess you could just bail if the beer list, food, and price are way out of whack.

"The dinner will be on Tuesday, February 5th @ 7PM. First come-First Sold. I don't have the list of beers yet, but expect the tickets to cost around $75 for at least 6 beers and six kick ass courses. Tickets are very limited since this is a single seating."

Just checked the Monks website. Dinner is $85. Some of the Box Set bottles, and DDG is on the beer list. Pretty solid overall.
