I heading to fish the big horn river from iowa next weekend, picking a buddy up at the billings airport on Saturday. Any places to stop for a beer or bottle shop?? Heading to ft smith after pick him up, any thing going on there beer wise? Will end up in Jackson hole the following Friday what's a good place to grab a beer??
Carters and Angry Hanks in Billings are my 2 favorite breweries. I don't think either one bottles regularly, though I have seen Carters bottle some of their barrel aged stuff on occasion. Montana Brewing and Uberbrew both have good beer and food as well. If you are getting stuff for the road I'd say Doc and Eddys Liquor store or City Vineyard. If you want beer to take out fishing with you I would for sure stock up before you leave Billings, not much that I know of out toward the Big horn. Snake River in Jackson is great for food and beers and not far away in Victor Idaho is Grand Teton Brewing.
