Monthly headed to VT or Bos thread??

I'd like to see a sticky with Boston and Vermont. Akin to the stuff to do in Boston in the summer 2014 thread that always gets referenced. List out the breweries, bars, restaurants, and transit options.

 

I think a sticky for VT and a sticky for Boston is the way to go

 

A sticky with a google map for all the top recommended spots would be more efficient.

Then we can just point out to them the sticky. The amount of times I read the thread "Coming to Boston on XX/XX, where to go". Found, for example, that the Florida thread and the NW thread does a good job and is much easier to peruse then to look at all the same responses to basically all the same threads.

 

Here here! I'm surprised it's taken this long to get a sticky for this.

 

Ok guys, Im getting sick of seeing "Where to go in Boston", "taking a road trip", "Where to find Heady", threads in the forum. I am hoping one of you more savvy people can make a sticky so that there can be a one stop shop for all NE brewery, beer bar, beer store, thread. Any momentum on this? Resurrecting this thread to see if anyone has the ability/availability to do this, especially heading into Tourist season!! Will be willing to help collaborate with some people, but am unwilling to take this on alone (ya know, work, kid, honey do list, drinking, other priorities). PM me if interested, and if a Mod sees this would love input on that end too!

 

I am 100% for this. There are plenty of good-hearted people willing to answer every individual person's questions, whether repetitive or not, but it's annoying to see multiple threads with similar content cluttering the board. I think that it would be great to have one of these in every regional forum (I understand that some of the regions are more spread out), but New England would be a good test run. If individuals still have specific questions regarding their trip, I am sure that there will continue to be people willing to answer those questions. I'd add that sticky-ing it is important as it is kind of intimidating going into regional forums that you're not familiar with the region (or spend less time in that forum). It can also serve as a good intro or travel guide for folks interested in coming up.

All these damn millenials can't seem to figure out how to use the search bar and want info just spoon fed into their dumb brain

 

My only hesitation to support this is the fact that there is different cool stuff happening on different dates(festivals and special events)

Seems like a no-brainer. Not sure why this site is so averse to stickying threads.

 

Things also change up pretty often, delivery dates, times, what is available. I personally feel lucky to live in a state with some decent beer (although almost three hours away) and have no problem being of help when I can.

 

That's true but there are still the simple questions "when can I get Heady?" that can be cleared up by linking to TA's website & Heady Spotter.

This is a complete no-brainer for the mods.
