Brian was shooting for September, but you know how this all goes. Government approval for such things can delay these projects by months. I haven't gotten a recent update.

The brewery is ready (not sure if it is legal for them to sell brew made there), the tasting room is in limbo.

went to SF a few weeks ago. First order of business was a visit to Toronado. Downed a couple pints of Reality Czeck and Death & Taxes. I fucking love Reality Czeck. Next day had Twist of Fate at Beer Revolution. All was right with the world. Just missed out on Bombay by Boat, but I've had it before. I really wish we got Moonlight down in SoCal

I was at the taproom last Monday. It's close. They have tables and chairs, though it is still a bit of a construction zone. Walls are painted and bathrooms are usable. I posted a few pics on our instagram. It's going to be a great place to hang out!

Reality Czeck is a great beer. I had it on draft at Flavor but unfortunately didn't try any of their other offerings that night because it was late and I was going to Russian River. I was also able to try Twist of Fate at The Linkery in San Diego which is the only time I've seen one of their beers in SoCal.

One time, some years ago, Brian was at The Linkery with a showcase of his beers. My friend Matt and I were drinking at Toronado (SD) and already slightly buzzed walked down 30th to sample his offerings (we had both had Moonlight beers prior to this). We spoke to Brian at length and at some point we were talking about Liefman's Kriek. Brian said he hadn't had one in years and we told him they had bottles down at Toronado. He walked down with us and bought a bottle. At this point Matt and I were more than slightly buzzed. Brian wound up calling my wife and telling her that she needed to come down. She met us at the Linkery where we proceeded to continue drinking Moonlight beers with Brian. She told Brian she didn't like the gose and he LOVED her for it. He went on and on about how people kiss his ass and don't tell him the truth about his beers. We kept drinking for quite some time. Moral of this story: Brian can drink a fucking lot of beer. I was shitfaced. Matt and I forgot out Moonlight glasses at The Linkery and apparently someone in San Diego has them.

I hope the tasting room is bigger than his fermenter cold room.

Any update on the tasting room? Going to be up in Sebastopol over the next week. Would love to try this out.

If not, I guess having to drown my sorrows with a cowgirl burger and moonlight at Flavor will have to suffice!

Working for Tips was surprisingly delicious, easily the best gruit I've tried.

I was there yesterday. They have no official date on the opening of the taproom. They did say that they're hosting a few special parties there, but no date set for the public.

The brew kettles and hot liquid tank have been moved to the new location and they've been brewing there for the last 7 weeks now.

The beer is still excellent and the people are still great. Very much looking forward to sitting down at their bar and drinking some fresh lagers!

The only Moonlight brew I've tried was Artemis and it was one of the worst beers I've ever had (liquid oregano). Looking forward to trying the ones highly acclaimed here.

Somebody correct me, but I believe Brian Hunt once made a remark to the effect of "if someone likes all the beers I brew then I'm doing something wrong."

Does anyone know when the taproom is going to open? I can't find an actual date anywhere.
