What is the likelihood of trading for a growler of Death & Taxes? I'm pretty sure the brewery doesn't fill growlers, but are there any bars in CA that fill growlers that occassionally get Death & Taxes? I recently saw it on the draft list of Beachwood BBQ, but don't know if they fill growlers. Any insight?
by ca law you can only fill growlers at the brewery. might find someone willing to bend the rules if you have a solid inside connection, but that's pretty unlikely.
Thanks for the info, but what about a place like Pizza Port that fills growlers, but also has guest beers? Will they only fill growlers of their own beer?
yes. the widespread interpretation of the law is that only product from the brewery on the growler can be inside the growler.
