Good start to Sac Beer Week. Auburn Tap takeover at Cap Hop Shop in Downtown Sac.

Moonraker Yojo 33 1/3. Great day out. Also had some Low Viz and Zulu Haze from Moonraker.

Also got up to Moonraker. With everyone elsewhere at Sac Beer Week events.... plenty of cans available in Auburn with no line.

This batch of Yojo was also on point. Not sure how they did it.... but maybe even better then usual? Great smell off the nose, amplified fruit upfront or something. Really good.

So Holy Hermit cans are being released on Friday ... thoughts on if they will last until Sunday and/or Monday? Wife is flying into town on Sunday and hoping she could mule for me ... no clue how quickly these types of releases sell out. Thank you!

Probably 50/50 they last till Sunday/Monday. Production has gone way up on these can releases. Also far more local competition. New Glory and Fieldwork both have large Multi-Can releases this Friday as well. Plus weekly Revision distro releases.

Holy Hermit is probably the #2 favorite for most locals (behind only Electric Lettuce in popularity). They will probably have more info on case counts by Friday. They are also possibly releasing cans of Citra Mango Milkshake IPA Thurs or Friday also.

You are still probably 50/50 for Monday. Probably real good chance on Sunday.

No limits: 195 cases of Holy Hermit and of 90 Citra Mango Milkshake

Also now 4 other can releases in Sacramento Fri/Sat.... So some may not make the drive up to Auburn. New Glory (4 cans), Track 7 (2 cans), Bike Dog (3 cans), Fieldwork (3 cans). Plus new Revision and Alvarado St deliveries to several bottle shops.

    Bringing this topic back up.

Batches are getting bigger and more releases per week now.

Atomic Betty DIPA out this week.

A few days ago they still had 4 cans of previous releases. Even a PILSNER.

Moonraker in Auburn still on point with the IPAs. Took home cans of Atomic Betty DIPA.

sampled One IPA, Hoppiness Unlimited DIPA and Hazy Rider Pale.

Also had a pint of the new Czech PILSNER. Great with the hot weather.

    Anyone have an extra-
Barrel Aged Wicked Whisper, maple variant they would part with? Message me if so!

    Thanks in advance!

Went to Moonraker for the Electric Lettuce DIPA can release. No lines. Cans should last for a few days (200 cases). Electric Lettuce is one of my favorite beers.

Also tried the Raspberry Milkshake DIPA and the Northern Light West Coast DIPA. good stuff.

The new 2nd Production facility is finally paying off. Cans from the last release went to several Bottle Shops in Sacramento (Cap Tap) and Roseville (Final Gravity & OTP).

Looks like they made it to a few bottle shops in the Bay Area as well.

Some nice can releases coming up over the next few weeks:

10/19 - All Hops on Deck - WC DIPA
    10/22 - Atomic Betty - NE DIPA
10/22 - Cloud Castles -NE IPA
    10/30 - Yojo - NE IPA
    10/31 - Low Viz - NE TIPA
    10/31 - Benevolent Overlord - WC TIPA
    11/2 - Electric Lettuce - NE DIPA

I'm curious if anyone else thinks the larger production from moonraker is affecting quality? Some of their beers have been tasting average to me lately. Not as high level world class as I'm used to from them.

I haven't been able to get anything canned in a while and can't justify the premium some local places are charging which can get as high as $7.99 per can. I did order a pour of Diloris and wasn't as impressed by it as I had been before. Like you said, just kinda average.
