Yes I know this and have heard and said the same thing a million times, but I am just sick of this game and will not be purchasing any of these "special" releases. I didn't by Live a Rich Life because of the price tag so not buying a year round beer for $35 just because they threw in in barrels.

 

I did not/am not buying either of those also. I am happy with the beer I buy and feel no sense of envy for the suckers ... I mean people that are shelling out $35 right. I raise my glass to you my friend.

Did you actually get it? The cases underneath the FFF sixers were empty when I got there at 10:30 this morning.

 

If I lived really close to FFF, I'd probably pick up most of their limited offerings (not Battle Priest, though). Worth trading an arm and a leg for? Probably not.

God dammit I just woke up from a post drink nap and notice this now. They have around 100 bottles left, probably gone by the time I drove my ass all the way over there, for ONE beer. One amazing beer

 

Supposedly 200 of the 579 will be going to some bar in Chicago. Heard this from the guy next to me at the bar that talked to the merch guy, so be sure to take it with a clump of salt.

nope, but it was available. i just didn't want it. i didn't check on the cases you mentioned, but the sixers were available this afternoon when I went.

edit: i didn't bother to double check, but i think the sign said 1 sixer per customer per type (fff sixer).

 

They aren't; they just grab cases. Mine was 68, and the guy who was sitting at the bar before I showed up had 118.

 

I like the idea of the whiskey, but the berries? Eh, I don't know. I wasn't so keen on Bramble BCS, so I think I'm okay not shanking someone in the parking lot to get one.

Yeah not sure why they would sell 200 bottles to a place like that. As good as they may be, of 579 bottles they are basically cutting off 200 people from realistically getting any, and those bottles will be ridiculously marked up.
