Just got here and grabbed Karmic. 2 cases still on the ground and some in the fridge.

 

No line. Still available almost 3 hours after opening. No absurd FTs yet. Official shelf turd designation acquired.

BTW, I love More’s chicken sandwich, but if there’s no room, you should try Fry the Coop, which is like a 5 minute drive from More. Really good chicken, and they have FFF on tap. Word of warning though, they absolutely do not **** around with the spice. The “Hot” is so hot I can barely finish it, and they have 2 levels of spice above that.

 

There were a few loopers around me in line at 11:15 but I didn’t see any of them going back for thirds. Very chill release!

 

Called in at 130 and told them I was 40 minutes away and was told they highly doubted any Karmic would be left. Took my chances anyway and there’s still roughly 30 2 packs.

 

Not saying they’re doing it today but sometimes the bar staff even encourages looping if there’s no line after a couple of hours

Can confirm, the two levels above hot are barely enjoyable. But great spot for hot chicken

 

I was sitting right by the table where the purchases took place. I saw the guy who was about 3 spots in front of me in line loop at least 3 times. Each time he either put his hood on, took his jacket off, took his beanie hat off. It was pretty funny. I’m sure he saw me shaking my head at him.

 

His resolution to show some restraint at beer releases in 2020 lasted all of two days.

 

You're going about this all wrong. His resolution was to be an even bigger shit lord in 2020. He's having a banner year so far.

 

I can confirm as well. Level above hot (crazy?), was enjoyable while eating it, but was miserable the next day. The highest level was pure Gob Bluth’s “I’ve made a huge mistake!” hell from the first bite.

I had to go back to work on Thursday so there was no way I was going to make this latest can release. I was there on NYE though. I had all of the special tappings except for the BA Barleywine. Here are my thoughts.

Henna Cherry Truffle : This was by far my favorite. It was also the one served at the most appropriate temperature without having to let it warm much. I would buy cans of this.

Henna S'More: This was a marshmallow bomb. The graham cracker was really subtle and took some time to come through. It was a touch too sweet for my liking, but still very enjoyable.

BA Imperial Falling Colors: Karmic: It was all coconut in the beginning. I really had to let this one warm up before I got the cinnamon. I would agree that the barrel was light, which I don't mind. I would disagree that it was too sweet. I didn't find this one to be sweet at all. That said, I in no way needed more than that 5oz pour of it. I'm not sorry about missing the cans.

I'd also agree that the Double Dusty was fantastic. I am a bit miffed that I missed the cans.

Lastly, really enjoyed Eravana, which is odd for me. I typically don't gravitate to the hops used in this one. Executed well.
