I would say the stouts and Frooted beers have taken huge steps backward. They’ve brewed some good new stuff (Razzimus Prime jumps out) but I think it’s been underwhelming

Am I missing this info somewhere, or are you guessing based on the colors?

Looks like I might have to be an ultimate shitlord on Friday and hit up More early then on to Rev for their release.

Thinking the same, but depends if our 3rd member is officially joining the car. If so, we'll be missing MORE.

How early would you plan on going to more? i was thinking maybe get there no later than 9:00? I know it's a henna release but I'd imagine since it will be pretty cold and snowing, that 2 hours should be plenty to get a bottle...?

I'll be interested to see what the lines are like for these releases. I have liked all of the More stouts I have had, but I'm not sure if these are really worth lining up for relative to some other beers. Considering how much stuff was available on the shelves when I visited a beer shop on Friday, it's hard for me to even think about lining up for these Hennas.

Even the Curvature stouts can be had with just getting to the stores that have it about 15 minutes prior to open.

For the BA Karmic release I got there at about 10:30. I was able to get an allotment. I did see someone loop around 3 times. But with this being a Henna, who knows if 10:30 will cut it this time.

I don't think they've ever had a line release where someone who got there right at open didn't get one bottle / 2-pack. Close, but I think for a non-BA release in the cold and with hype in general for this stuff coming down a bit - I wouldn't think this to be the first.

Now, if you are able to go early need to get out of there at a certain time to get down to Rev, you may want to line up just to be able to leave at say 11:30 instead of a little after noon or so.

I'd chance it at about open if my buddy and I go. Maybe 15-30 before at best. Don't want to wait in line and it just is not THAT important to me.

Splitting both between Friday and Saturday, so it'll be interesting to see who wants to stand out in the snow for a couple 2pks and how many shitlords will do it two days in a row.

I was hoping for this, but the 11am start probably won't help our cause here.

I know it’s difficult to gauge turnout these days but I’ve never been to More release like this. Any guesses to how crazy the line will be each day?

So if you just want to go into the taproom for the draft pours right at open, you can’d do that now? You have to stand in-line even if you don’t to purchase anything but just want to go in for lunch and drinks? Is so, that’s pretty terrible. Recently I’ve enjoyed just going into the taproom right at open and having the limited releases on draft since I had no interest in lining up, but if they’ve changed that .... well, they lost some of my business.

I can see both sides of the argument. People that have been standing in line to get their beer are generally going to want to stop in the tap room afterwards to try it on tap... but then the tap room is completely full and they have to get in another line.

Honestly I think you are right that it is a bad call because there will be families looking to eat lunch and they will tell them to go stand in a giant line...

Yup I'm actually going to both. Plan to be on my way to Rev by 11:30. What time do you plan on going to Rev?

Seems like overkill if you ask me unless you're dying to bottle share in line.
