Wow I’m stunned, my first ever oznr win. Miracles never cease!

 

So I ordered delivery today thanks to this thread's encouragement. Excited to try the bottle of Petro I was able to order. But misunderstood that you can order only 1 bottle OR 1 2 pack of cans per household, I thought it was one per packaging category per household. Thankfully, More called me and said they weren't cancelling the order, saying it was their fault on the verbiage! Very thankful, so shout out to More!

 

Wow, that's good to know, thanks for the info. I was going to try to order a Petro and some Double Rainbow, they definitely weren't clear about that rule.

By the way, I'm interested to try the new Falling Colors (cocoa nibs and coconut). I know they have done some Falling Colors variants before, but this one sounds really good. There aren't a lot of really good adjunct stouts/porters with lower ABV. I think Last Snow and Maple Bacon Coffee Porter are the cream of the crop in that department, and I'm honestly surprised there aren't more clones of Last Snow floating around the country.

 

Anyone ever have luck with getting something added to an existing delivery order? Placed my order and the subtotal showed over $100 so I checked out to avoid delivery fee. Once I got the order through the subtotal showed $20 less and under the $100 threshold. I’m hoping to add another 4 pack instead of getting charged the delivery fee. Seems like something honest people would help me with.

 

Ask them to add a bottle of Blanton’s

Have you tried calling them? Or are you just pontificating on a message board, like a child wandering into the middle of a conversation?

 

Thanks for the constructive feedback! My post was made prior to them being open so I was just looking for anyone else that may have had experience with the same situation. You know, sharing knowledge and experiences on a forum.

For those interested that may have the same situation in the future, I did call them and they took care of adding to my order. I wasn’t sure how it would work with them using Toast as a platform but they took care of it and my delivery is supposed to be here in the next hour or so.

 

For those wondering about Bottle counts. I tried to get a swirl or a Karma today with my order. I was unable to get either one, so I settled for a Petro. Once I completed check-out, I went back and all bottles other than Petro were sold out. Petro sold out soon after. My order number was #5. So if you are thinking they are releasing a case or half case of these bottle, you are wrong. They are releasing 1-2 bottles of the Henna's. Maybe had a half case of Petro, but the henna's are one or two bottles. Got go be in at 9:00:01 or no henna for you. I wish that was more readily communicated.

 

I've got a bottle of Henna CPM coming today, so I must have been really quick! It's unfortunate though, there's pretty much no way you can get one of these BA bottles and also fill out $70 more in cans to reach the $100 limit before the BA bottle is sold and drops out of your cart. Oh well, I have enough beer already, for sure.

I finally tried Two Trees, and wow, that's a really good beer. One of the best IPAs I've tried in a long time.

 

ok, I’m drinking one now and... it’s doing nothing for me. Please expand on tasting notes and I’ll quest harder.

 

For the $, I liked To the Trees better.

 

I thought it had a good combination of resin and citrus (lemon-grapefruit) flavor, and love piney, grapefruity IPAs. Also, the bitterness is muted a little bit, which makes it really drinkable.

 

I just wanted to follow up on this one in case people are keeping track. I ordered again today and was again Order #5. I got the Roaming Elephant because Mhendi 18 & 19 and Vanilla Caviar were only single bottles. I still really like More Beer...a lot and continue to purchase delivery at least once a month. I just wish there was better visibility on these bottles. 4, or 5 or 6 total bottles available per day isn't much.

Anyway, Can't wait to do a Roaming Elephant and a Nettipattam side by side.

 

New Arketype is up on OZNR

 

Every Arketype they have canned so far has been pretty good, IMO. I regretted only getting one 2-pack of the French Toast one, so I snagged two of this. I hope it's just as good.

BTW, VP has bottles of a peanut butter-banana Arketype for sale to go. I'm assuming they are mini-growlers.
