More Brewing (2021)

Interesting looking collaboration with Maplewood will be up on OZNR Wednesday. "Imperial Oat Stout with additions of Cocoa Nibs, Cocoa Husks & Madagascar Vanilla Beans". 14%.

 

I've apparently become the official "More Brewing" guy even though I rarely cop their stuff.

Nettipattam: Caramel Delight is a barleywine with caramel & Madagascar vanilla bean. Available via (Barry R)OZNR* tomorrow at 10am. Proxies allowed.

*Extreme Chicago baseball heads might get this joke. If not...it's on OZNR.

 

The last Nettipattam was OK, but a little too sweet. I'm guessing this will be similar.

 

Double Origin is up on MORE Huntley OZNR. Stout collab. with Bottle Logic.

 

This Bottle Logic collab was aged 27 months….does this make this Shaun’s last beer at More?

 

It very well could be. Shaun departed More in March of 2019? So that would make it about 26 months since he departed.

 

We’ll know based on any 0.25 ratings from More staff

 

It appears to have been brewed on November 13, 2018. It looks like Shaun did a bunch of collaborations before he left. This looks to be one of them.

 

Rada, Petro, and Double Origins were the last stouts he collab with before he left More.

lol I also won and now my prize is complaining about driving far away for expensive beer in Huntley and then in Lake Zurich to people who likely live closer than I do.

I, too, do not need to drive to Huntley or LZ. Also came up juuuuuuuuust a bit short on being required to go to Beach Park on a recurring future basis.

We actually do have indoor plumbing and electricity out here in Huntley, no kidding!

Money saved to be spent in the near future at Rev I say. Soo much great beer to be had over the entire Chicagoland area that you can drive yourself crazy. Sneeze and you hit something good, be thankful we have all these options locally.

Do that out by I90, we don’t tolerate that stuff in the downtown square area!

Never been actually. As long as someone doesn’t use my yard as a bathroom then I’m all good! Either way the fox roaming the neighborhood as of late should deter that.
