More Brewing Co (2019)

They had 10 beers on draft yesterday (good number for them), and they had some descent ones besides the BA Henna: Toasted Marshmallow. They had DDH K.I.S.S., DDH Loose Candies, Double Dusty, Mozie, Stitches, Stitches Vanilla, Falling Colors... good selection to choose from even if the 'big one' is no longer on tap.

 

They made it seem like the kegged quite a bit of it though...

 

One of the bartenders said they did 2 kegs, and one wasn't a full one. Not sure how accurate that info is, but that's what I was told.

 

Sounds about right to me if it didn’t make it through a day

 

Maybe they brought some of it to Wakefest?

Coconut City and BA Swirl were the two they took to Wakefesf.

 

It seems like BA Swirl is on of their out of town festival go-to’s (pretty sure it was at GABF). Must have stored some rainy day kegs of it

 

I think they did take Toasted Marshmallow to a festival somewhere a couple weeks back. I can’t recall which one, but I remember seeing it posted somewhere. Too bad they didn’t save another keg or two for their own place.

 

Horus’ festival is the one.

Yeah that Friday was Fobab/Deth by Currants/Benthic. Then More drops the Henna flights on everyone

 

What? Henna flights? They had multiple variants of Henna on tap and did flights?

 

Yeah 5-6 options with a limit 4. Marshmallow and PB were 2 of them

 

It was the Friday of FOBAB (11/16) and they released Strawberry Marbles that day. I bought some cans, went in and it was a nice surprise.

I believe the 6 were:
Marshmallow
Peanut Butter Cup
Coffee Maple
Vanilla Caviar
Karma
Double Rainbow

 

Would not be surprised at all if Peanut Butter Cup is the next one. I'd bet on it.

 

The question to me is if we get another Henna release before Chicago craft beer week.

 

Seems like a fair amount of Chicagoland breweries do something special or interesting around that week. I can see a non-BA Henna being released is some form or fashion around then.

 

I should like to try this Coconut City.
