Bringing on Eric Padilla was a good move, Corridor has been making some of the best hazies around here so if they wanted a brewer with some rep in that area they hired the right guy.

Whoever said they should bring on Eric earlier made a good prediction! That's probably the best (realistic) hire they could've made in this situation. Good on them for that.

It's interesting that the fb post doesn't mention Shaun or Evan by name...

Does this mean that Croush is More?

Any other questions from the people that thought More would implode because their brewer and gm left

Disappointed to lose Eric from Corridor since I live close to there - his beers have been incredibly dialed in lately. But great rebound for More.

In due time, you will find out.

This for sure. Corridor is the closest brewery to my house and I've been a fan for awhile now. I hope they can find someone to fill in Eric's shoes. I know he wasn't head brewer there all that long, but had spent time learning under Roger. Hopefully they have an assistant or someone at DryHop that has had time under Eric (and perhaps Roger). I think it's tough for them because they are so small and someone good is just gonna get snatched up by a bigger player.

Back to back in my IG thread:

St Errant - We got together with Eric Padilla and @corridorchicago to brew up this double IPA.

More - We are excited to announce that we will also be bringing on Eric, formerly of Corridor

edit: @croush please send me your march madness picks so I can retire this April and chase whales all day.

and the game of head brewer musical chairs continues, yeesh.

i'm assuming this happens in the brewery community often, but this reinforces my opinion that there is an extreme dearth of talent given the size of this market.

wouldn't be surprised to see corridor poach the main person at Hop Butcher

It's PR, not a sworn testimony lol

I'm not saying they're good or bad, but they're obviously going to try and portray themselves as well as possible.

Seems like MoRE is required to employ the most recent Stoutfest winning brewer.

As a professional organization would/should. Whatever happened, whoever was a majority fault, MoRe took the grown up approach. The announcement had no subtle backstabs or dirty hints and looks like they attracted top talent to boot.
