Well you’ve convinced me. Shaun had to be the d-bag in all of this.

Parties can separate due to differing values & beliefs (whether it be an employee, friend, significant other) and still not have one of them be an antagonist. Sometimes you just part ways. Can’t we just chalk this up to that?

(I’ll probably regret weighing in on this)

Good hire for More but honestly, I would have went after Roger. In my opinion, just my opinion, Corridors hazies are not as good since he left. Previously, I would have put Corridor up against any NE IPA in the country.

1- Were the GABF medals Corridor took home in 2018 Rodgers?
2- Rodger seems to jump breweries every year, so though talented, might not be the best if you desire longer term continuity.

And Croush wonders why his literary fiction career hasn't taken off yet.

At this point, it’s basically paint by numbers for the beers they have already rolled out. Dusty, Space boots, etc will taste exactly the same next year as they did 6 weeks ago. A new head brewer isn’t going to change that. Gulballhead and Alpha king didn’t change when FFF changed brewers.

The difference will be in new beers, and once they expand.

I enjoyed reading the initial speculation and blame game and now we have a clearer picture of the aftermath. Looks like both parties have landed on their feet for the most part with More hiring top talent and Brewer/GM getting to start their own operation right away.

    Everyone wins (except Corridor )

Maybe. After listening to the podcast Shaun said that he had been tweaking recipes by using a new malt supplier and that people may have noticed a slight change over the past few months. Granted he said that he dialed it in so they may just continue using that malt supplier going forward. I think the new head brewer will want to strike a balance between putting his stamp on it and not fucking up existing recipes.

How do they say goodbye to what they had? The good beers that made us line up, outweighed the bad. I thought they'd brew forever, but forever has blown away.

I don't know where this Lake Zurich road is going to lead to,
All I know is what we bought and what we resold,
If it gets me to tomorrow, I hope it's worth all the Frooted pain.

I made the mistake of reading the Facebook comments. A lot of people acting like Shaun is the only person to ever brew a decent hazy/adjunct stout. I haven't tried as much Corridor as I would like, and now I get the chance (sort of).

Mistake? I think they are hilarious.

A lot of “You guys are going to suck now,” or “You’re nothing without Shaun!”

A little research into Eric would go along way for some of these people.

I love this concept. Shaun is the best brewer because he makes beer that tastes the least like beer....
