More Brewing Co (2019)

This batch of DDH Strong Hand is very good if you’re in the mood for a little Mosaic

 

Owned an Outback for 10 years. Thing was an absolute champ. In the right conditions it could get 30 MPG on highway. Alas, we now have 3 kids and it had to go.

Enough CarAdvocacy. Congrats on the new position, and thanks for coming on here to answer our petulant questions!

 

Yes I did. Enjoyed it, although I didn’t get as much barrel as I expected. I may have just built up the expectation too high in my head based on how much I liked regular Double Rainbow, but I’m still glad I finally got to try it.

 

We did hit it with a tiny bit of fresh strawberry and vanilla as it had fallen off a little. That may have mottled the barrel a teeny bit.

 

I noticed the strawberries were quite present, which is something I also didn't expect (although I really liked), so the addition of fresh strawberries makes sense on both why they were so noticeable and potentially muting the barrel.

 

Yeah, I was surprised the strawberry hadn’t faded also. Fresh strawberry makes sense. It was delicious. They still had some left as of 7:30 yesterday, so maybe it will be on again today.

They also had Juicy Bits on tap yesterday as a guest draft.

I went for dinner on Tuesday at 6pm, and it was pretty full, but there was no wait for a table of 4, and I didn't see anybody waiting at any point.

 

Yesterday was pretty slammed. I imagine tonight will be fairly busy with Karma coming on.
There was a wait in the evening, but I don't think it was very long.

got here at 5:00 and missed it. Karma still on and Razzimus is really good

 

I am SO happy with how Razzimus turned out.

 

Yeah a raspberry lover’s delight. Any particular difference from Frooted Red Raspberry from December?

Karma was very good. More coconut than cinnamon which isn’t how I last remembered it

 

Yeah, Razzimus is a raspberry kettle sour where as the Frooted beers aren't kettle soured.
All the BA Henna kegs that tapped this week were hit with fresh adjuncts to really make them pop.

 

Do you mind explaining how you guys do this?

Is this just running the beer through the adjuncts, similar to andall/randaling?

 

We individually dose each keg.
