Still on tap

 

Talked to the bartender last night at 8:00, and he said they were about a half barrel behind where they thought they would be at that point. So he was relatively comfortable everyone today, who got bottles, will get a pour. However, since it’s first come first serve for everyone, there’s no guarantees.

 

Karma still flowing.

 

Literally just kicked. Fiancé and I got the 2 pours before last two pours out of the keg.

 

Annnnnd it just kicked. No mas karma and it's a bitch

Kudos to More for having Karma on tap 3 straight days Hopefully lots of people got a pour.

 

Double Dusty cans still available as well as Frooted crowlers. Strawberry Marbles crowlers on tomorrow too. Bummed I missed Karma pours when coming in for the bottle but there’s some good stuff on tap now

 

I was surprised how crowded it was when I showed up just before opening today. My family and I were able to get a table no problem, but it filled up quickly.

I thought BA Karma was really good, but a tad too much cinnamon for me. I liked the coconut coming in at the end to smooth it out, but I would’ve liked a bit more coconut than cinnamon, but it was still tasty. Strawberry Marbles was mighty tasty as well.

 

Got there shortly after 11. Snagged a table no problem. Steel Cage Match was awesome. Karma was obviously killer. Strawberry Marbles is in a different category of beer altogether - and crazy delicious. Picked up my bottle of Karma with no line in between wings and a breakfast sammie. Overall it was a great situation. Brunch there is insane, beers were fantastic. Nicely-done on this release, More.

 

Yep, I thought Steel Cage Match was the show stopper. I love the HB version and I thought this version was even better. No alcohol burn whatsoever from a 10.5% triple IPA.

BA Henna was very good, but not earth shattering. No way I would pay $28 for a pint. I love how they priced it lower on draft.

Villa Pils is also excellent if there are people on here who drink beers other than stouts and NE IPA's

I felt bad for the bartenders from 11-noon yesterday. We got a table for brunch, and the bar was completely full, with 3 rows of people doing the "awkward hover" behind the bar. They were completely slammed, and ordering beers took awhile, but they managed to get through that huge rush.

 

Don’t feel bad! Big rush means big tips (and it’s their job!). I was at the bar and they were working real hard yet still kind and accommodating. I’ve always felt the help there gets an unnecessary amount of criticism. I’ve had nothing but solid experiences my 8-10 times there.

Agreed. It was the same on Saturday and the bartenders could not have been any nicer considering the hoard of people around the bar. Service was above and beyond considering the situation...

I'm hoping what I said was not taken as a knock on the bar service. On the contrary, I want to commend them for looking up to an absolute mass of people trying to all get a pour of the same thing before it runs out. We were right next to the bar, and could see the two bartenders not losing their cool when they had group of people all trying to get their attention at once.

 

There is a can release today btw, DDH Strong Hand and Dusty (which may be leftover from last week?) 1 case limit each. I am too lazy to pull the link
