More Brewing Co. (StB) - (2018)

Not trying to revive the previous discussion but I couldn't help but think this DDH Loose Candies is moving a bit closer to how I remember Juicy. A big improvement over the non DDH version

 

What you heard may be true but I heard the issue was with the beer not being ready. Not sure which it is

 

Have there been any rumors/whispers about when the next bottle release will be? I was probably going to come down the weekend of the 23rd just for shits.

 

Last time he posted that he was brewing a stout so hopefully he'll do the same again

 

Nice. It would be a sick birthday trip if he did release it that weekend. If not, I'll be satisfied with NG's RnD release.

I was told Strong Hand will be an October release. The beer wasn't ready and they also had to send their canning equipment back up to Canada to get recalibrated. They are relying on mobile canning for the time being, which is also hard to schedule.

 

I thought I would mention I had DDH Loose Candies last night for the first time. It's probably the best beer I've had from Shaun, IMO (Chaos probably would challenge that, but it's been so long since I tasted it). It's my favorite IPA of any of his Ram/More offerings, that's for sure.

 

Smart to not roll out a beer that wasn't ready/right.

 

I'm right there with you. I've gone through 8 cans of it already, and I've traded my Juice is Loose 4-packs away for more DDH Loose Candies 4-packs. It's incredible!

 

Anyone know what More has to go? Didn't see anything on their FB page. Might stop in before football tomorrow

So, More has been open for 2 months and we've seen, what, 5-6 IPAs?

Starting to almost be weird.

 

Yeah if you don't count DDH versions then that's probably right. So is it a tank space issue? A hop contract issue?

I get Shaun is known for doing the hop thing well, but the lack of beers/variety available is getting weird.

 

have visited twice now, only 3 house beers on tap each time. nothing available to go either time.

enjoyed the beers, but not worth a trip out there until they have a greater quantity of options.
