Yep.... and they won't open until they have 3 or 4 beers on tap. You can't open a tap room with one beer and you can't make any money if all of the beer is canned so the tap room has nothing to offer. I assume the allotments will be smaller at first to allow people to enjoy the new tap room.

July 15th is their opening date according to their fb event.

 

Nice to hear a concrete date about opening. Too bad I'll miss the first two weekends. I'm hoping it will die down, at least a little, before I can make it.

 

I feel like if this place is just constantly slammed I'll never get near it. I can't wait to hear how the beers are though.

I'm actually thinking about being crazy enough to check out the opening.

 

Did they happen to say what their normal business hours will be? I hope to god they will be open more than R-Sun. I'm usually only in town M-W normally.

 

It's hard to find staff for a kitchen that is only open four days a week, so I assume they'll be open at least five per from the get-go?

 

Really? I'd rather rock the 40+ hour 4 day work week....

 

Kitchen staff is hourly. They probably want as many hours as they can get.

 

Unfortunately they're lacking information as of today (Tuesday) for a Saturday open. It's funny how someone complained on the Mikerphone thread for not updating the taplist / website when Miker is about as transparent as you can possibly be (when they brew every beer, what's going to be on tap and available) if you just

Anyone have any info on the following?
-Is the kitchen open? I'd assume yes, because I know that was one of the biggest reasons they were waiting. But haven't seen a menu.
-I'm assuming beers available are draft only, potentially crowlers to go, but maybe they'll be prudent and wait a little while on allowing to go beers.
-What beers are available. We know one will be a saison...

My wife and I are thinking about going with another couple but the level of shit show - impacted by some of the stuff above - may impact that.

 

According to Facebook we will be indulging in "delectable, heart-warming food" so I think you're set there. I have no idea what the taplist is or if there are going to be to-go options. They've released a picture of their crowlers so I imagine they'll be filling those.

 

More Brewing has about 8 beers on Untappd. I'd venture to guess most of the recent check-in's will be available for consumption during opening day and maybe some surprises.

The Untappd beers are all super old from Ardmore's (same owners) Ale fest last summer and apparently a stop at Bigby's in November. Maybe they keep the names, who knows, but I'd guess they won't be the same beers. We shall see.
