Pretty sure he's saying no. letting those that want to go only to the front would suck for those that want cans and to check out the tap room.

 

Hopefully they don't get hit with flooding today...

 

Though to say, which is why I hope it gets cleared up. If 100 ppl are in the taproom and person #102 just wants to-go cans that would also suck when the line gets stopped because taproom is at capacity.

 

This is 100% what will happen. If you want cans, you are at the mercy of people leaving the tap room.

I can understand why they are doing this opening weekend, but what a terrible setup. Dudes will wait for hours to get cans Saturday.

 

But when at capacity, people waiting to sit in the taproom are dependent upon people leaving the taproom seating area. To-go people just want their purchase and then gtfo. I think at a minimum, separate lines for to-go purchases and taproom admittance are needed. Anyway, good luck to the beta (line-)testers.

How do these breweries not learn from each other and each subsequent disastrous opening?

 

Especially when Shaun's post seems to acknowledge the problems with having only one line and instead of trying to make it better, seems to mock those that don't want to stand around for hours waiting on taproom patrons to drink their fill just to buy some to go cans...

Add me to the list of BAers forgoing FOMO to let these bad logistics get worked out.

 

I mean what better way to market your business than to have a line there all damn day long? They know what they're doing and I doubt they give a crap if people stand in line for hours on end for 12 cans of beer.

"Hey what's this line for?"
"We're waiting to buy 12 cans of beer."
"Oh must be good?"
"No they only have one register."

 

There must be a miscommunication (or a huge error) here... the last few releases at RAM were so smooth. 3 registers taking cash only... in and out easy.

I'm sure StB is busy canning today, but hopefully he gets on here and clarifies

When I read cash only to keep line moving fast, I immediately thought of how quickly the ram lines moved.

 

I guess if you try hard enough you can read it as a cash only line for cans but you may have to wait to get into the tap room after you've purchased your cans. I mean, maybe??

Can't wait to see how the neighbors react to the bottle shares. Hopefully not the same nonsense that went on when he was at Ram with the lack of respect to the surrounding area, and the establishment (bottles and garbage left everywhere). It's basically in a residential neighborhood, so I doubt they won't be too happy, plus the police station is nearby and you know they will be driving around.

 

Brewery is directly across the street from an Anon club too that has been around for 60+ years. Hopefully the brewery respects their neighbors, if its anything like the mess at RAM during the Juicy release people are gonna get PISSED.

 

I'm cool with 2 lines only if there is enough beer.

If I wait for an hour and a half to enjoy and spend money in the taproom there should be some cans left for me to purchase before I leave.
